Day 7 – Seattle to Vancouver, Canada
This morning we packed our bags and got ready for our train ride. When we got to the train station, there was a very, very long line, but I got a chocolate chip muffin. It was very yum.
On the train, I had a microwaved cheeseburger, and I did my fake LEGO architecture of the Space Needle. I am still not done, and it has 1456 pieces. I was very productive and finished one entire building, which was about 140 pieces. Out the windows, we saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery. (This is Kendra – We saw a bald eagle.) We saw a swooping heron and a dog running on the beach. We were near water masses and saw water. The moral of the story – water tastes good, and I am tired.
After the train ride, we walked towards our Airbnb and dropped off our bags. After doing that, we split up, and one group went to a cafe and one group went to Asian food (Kendra again – Addison and I went for Vietnamese food in Chinatown). Evan again, stop taking the reins – this is my story – the story of Canada.
We went to a market on Granville Island and got a ton of interesting stuff, which may or may not have included bread, croissants, a dinosaur, a cactus fruit, pasta, a bald dude, and beef casserole. We each also got our own dessert. Not the adults, though, they don’t get dessert. Although they did have some gelato, the kids got an Asian-style cheesecake, which tastes like pound cake. It was so freakaling good. I also got a chocolate mousse.
Then we went on a boat thingy/aqua bus. We saw water and really expensive boats, when I say expensive, I mean really, really expensive yachts and sailboats. At the next stop, we got off and were close to the World Cup stadium, so we had to walk back to our Airbnb.
Once we got there, we ate the dinner we’d bought at the market and swam. When I got back from that, I wrote a blog post that said. “This morning we packed our bags and got ready for our train ride. When we got to the train station, there was a very, very long line, but I got a chocolate chip muffin. It was very yum…”
