Outdoor Families Magazine Turns One & is Giving Away a Family Adventure!

Just over a year ago, my fellow outdoor blogging moms Jennifer Fontaine, Erin Kirkland, and Traci Lehman founded Outdoor Families Magazine to, “enrich the lives of multi-generational families internationally by providing outdoor and adventure related content meant to inspire a connection to, participation in and stewardship of the natural world.”

I remember the first mention of the idea of a magazine for outdoor families in our online blogging group. We were running a successful weekly twitter chat for outdoor families – #outfam – and inspiration struck. There was an audience for our work, and Jennifer, Erin and Traci stepped up to transform our tweets into something more.

A year later, and Outdoor Families Magazine has become an incredible resource for families enjoying the great outdoors. I have had the honor of contributing to the magazine with the following posts:

Sand and Surf Family Adventure Vacation Giveaway

To celebrate the first anniversary, Outdoor Families Magazine is giving away a Sand and Surf Family Adventure Vacation Giveaway. This multi-sport adventure trip in Mexico includes hiking, surfing lessons, swimming with the sea lions, and horseback riding.
