Review: Travel Square + Giveaway

Review: The Travel SquareAddison, our oldest daughter, is obsessed with many things – including the color pink, and purses. Even better – a pink purse. Whenever we head to the car, she totes along one of her many sparkly pocketbooks, jam-packed with crayons, scraps of papers, and other things she, “needs.” Most of the contents end up wedged under the seat or tucked away in her cup holder. Which is why when we were asked if we’d like to review the Travel Square, I jumped at the opportunity!

Developed by RJ Square, a company founded by Boston moms Maggie and Sharon, Travel Square is part pocketbook/satchel, part iPad/tablet holder, in one great cute and portable package! It keeps small toys, pencils/markers, sketchpads and books neatly organized, easily accessible, and fashionably transportable. The durable fabric rectangle folds neatly into a square and is secured by a strong velcro strap. (Which also doubles as a means of strapping the travel square to airplane seat-back trays, and lap desks.)

Review: The Travel Square

Addie loved choosing what to include in her Travel Square.

The fabric pockets secure at the top with velcro so the contents don’t slip out. The iPad/tablet sleeve features touch-sensitive vinyl, and is also secured with velcro. Addie brought it with her on our summer roadtrip, using is as a lap desk as she read, drew, and played games on the iPad. While she was dozing, we would hang the bag on one of the headrests and let the twins watch a video.

What We Liked

Durability: After a summer of being toted by our four year-old, the Travel Square is still in great shape.

Keeps Kids Organized: Now when Addie climbs into the car, her “stuff” stays organized and accessible. (And more importantly, doesn’t get lost in the cracks of the seats.)

Kids Dig It: Addie loves this product too – and not just because it’s pink. (Though that certainly adds to the appeal.) She loves packing it for the road, making sure to include her favorite books and pencils.
