Visiting the Goats at Split Creek Farm, Anderson, SC

Evin and Pat, owners of Split Creek Farm.

A trip to South Carolina wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our favorite goat dairy – Split Creek Farm in Anderson, SC. Though the farm is an awesome, award-winning goat dairy in its own right, we especially love it because it is run by two of our favorite ladies, Evin Evans and Pat Bell. Kendra grew up going to church with Evin, and over the years, I have gotten the chance to spend time with Evin and Pat during church services.

We haven’t had time to get out to Split Creek Farm on our last few trips to South Carolina, so it was really exciting to spend an afternoon visiting Pat and Evin, and the animals! Kendra’s brother Colin, and his family, joined us as well – Addie was so happy to hang out with her cousins Jada and Olivia!

Addie and Olivia started off our visit by chasing chickens around the farmyard.

Another cat!

While the kids played, I had a blast taking pictures of the farm animals.

Yum! Absolutely everything we tried was fantastic. I especially loved the feta with olives. Addie and Olivia couldn’t get enough of the creamy fudge.

Evin and Evan!

Split Creek Farm is an awesome place to take the kids, and a great place to pick up some wonderful treats! In addition to goat milk products, you can visit the farm’s other shop – the Hen House – to buy Pat’s folk art and other collectibles. If you can’t make it to the farm, you can always order online!
