9 Great Board Books for Toddlers

Moo Baa La La La! Sandra BoyntonI love reading to Addie. We read at least 5 or 6 board books each night before she goes to bed, and there are quite a few that we both love to read. I love watching her with books – she already knows how to hold them correctly, and will flip them right-side up if they are upside down. The only exception to this is when she is reading her Elmo Opposites book, and she gets to the two pages where Elmo is upside down on one, and right-side up on the other. She just turns the book around and around – it’s actually quite hilarious to watch. My favorite book to read with her is Moo, Baa, La La La by Sandra Boynton. As I read the book, she pitches in by making all of the animal sounds. Since I have always loved reading, it makes me super happy that my daughter enjoys it too – hopefully as she grows older she’ll continue to feel that way.
