Malahide and Bray, Ireland – Day 4

WHAT IT DOOO BROSKI BROS. Tonight is a special night. It’s V Money in the house, featuring Addie Baddie. You’ve got a two-for-one special blog post tonight! We are going to list our events of the day BUT write them from our points of view. Yerrr welcome.

BREAKFAST

V: I woke up with an upset Evan because I slept through our alarm, so we missed our morning walk. I ate scrambled eggs and Irish bacon with a slice of watermelon. I think this is too much info but who cares I am tired.

Edit: I did not eat scrambled eggs?? I don’t know why I said that. I had an omelet.

A: I woke up at 8:11. Yup. The fam was still sleeping except for V because she texted me early about our walk. I also missed it. Mother cooked us a splendid meal of omelets and our choice of fruit.

STORY TIME:

(EEEEEEEE!!!!) So a long time ago, long long time ago, I was in Spain (which might not be true) aaaaaand I was at this restaurant and they served me watermelon and soy sauce which was the most sweet and refreshing treat.

Ingredients:

  • watermelon
  • soy sauce

Recipe: thinly cut your watermelon, then add soy sauce! Bam, you’re done. Enjoy, pookies!

MALAHIDE CASTLE

V: The tour lady was super nice. We learned that “getting plastered” comes from the ethanol in the plaster that made the artists high and happy when they were sculpting the designs of the ceilings. The castle had loads of stone stuff and fancy rooms. (Jen, insert pics.)

A: We’re hashtag so late. We got to our tour an hour late, and the nice lady at the desk helped us. Yippee!!! “Mind your beeswax” comes from women wearing beeswax as foundation. They would be sitting by the fire, and their chaperone would warn them, “Mind your beeswax,” because it would, like, melt off if they were there for too long. Hashtagbestdayever!

BRAY BEACH

V: We walked along the beach and then we had the absolute most amazing Pakistani food. I ate lamb and much more but I can’t remember but I just need you to trust me in that I was having the best time of my life. No one would rub my belly tho. Hashtaghaterz. (Jen, insert crazy food pics). Also, had a spicy marg. Very very very tasty.

A: Hey yall. We were hungry. We got to this beach, and after playing in the sand/rock/mostly rocks, we had to go “see the smell,” as Mamafer put it (this means we had to follow the amazing food smell). The food was bussin (Restaurant named Daata). We didn’t even make a reservation and got a private rooftop terrace for ourselves (unlike the peasants who had to sit in the dining area and make reservations). Bee tee dubs, the place was packed and had a wait of two hours.

GELATO TIME (still on the beach)

V: Had oreo ‘lato.

A: Had crunch crepe. With their secret honey sauce.

(Insert more photos here) The end.
