Day 12 – Seville to Granada, Spain

Today was pleasant and relaxing. For breakfast, I had a………… croissant! So surprising, right? After breakfast, I went to the Seville Cathedral, which was built on the site of a mosque. The Giralda Tower, the cathedral’s bell tower, was the mosque’s minaret. Even though they started building the cathedral in the 1400s, it wasn’t finished until the early 1500s.

We had a tour of the roof as well as the cathedral itself. The tour was an hour and a half long, and I took many fantastic photos. There was also a flower-shaped window that I enjoyed looking at, too.

After exploring the cathedral, we went on a three-hour train ride to Granada, Spain. Before we got on the train, though, we had Mcdonald’s.  While on the train, mama and I played war, the card game. Mama won once, and I got my revenge and beat her in the next round.

Once the train ride was over, we took a bus to our Airbnb. When we got to the Airbnb, I immediately explored everything and claimed my room quickly. (IF YOU’RE READING THIS, MAKE SURE TO COMMENT! 🙂

After a short break in our Airbnb, we went to a restaurant called Amazonia Fine Foods for dinner. I had two artichokes, lemon iced tea, and a clear, pink drink for dinner. The seating was comfy, and I felt like I would fall asleep, but I didn’t.

After dinner, we went to the candy store, and my moms bought me lollipops. I am ready for whatever adventure awaits tomorrow!

Katelyn, you did a good job, giving the facts about the cathedral you visited. Being at home and reading your blog, it feels as if you’re always on the go. I can imagine it takes lots of energy to go to so many different places and move in and out of Airbnb’s.
