Day 4 – Lisbon to Armação de Pêra

Today was chill and relaxing. We left Lisbon and traveled to Armação de Pêra, a very small fishing town on the Algarve coast.

For breakfast, I had a freshly baked croissant with powdered sugar. I only ate half of it until I gave the rest of it to my sister. Next, we ran to catch a train and barely made it. Thankfully, we all got seats on the train. We rode the train for a while and then went to the bus station. I got a blue Powerade and drank it before we waited to get onto the bus. The bathroom on the bus was out of service, so I worried about going to the bathroom during the bus ride.

The bus ride was calm, considering I had a book on my iPod that was read aloud to me. We had one stop to go to the bathroom and have some food. Once we got back on the bus, I took photos of the bus ride view to post on Instagram later and then returned to my audiobook. Then once we got off the bus, we took a short walk to our Airbnb, dressed in our swimsuits, and went to the pool. After a bit, I returned to the Airbnb, showered, and played fun card games like Uno and War.

While we were showering, Mom, Addie, and Priscilla went to the grocery store and got food for dinner. They made charcuterie boards, pasta with pesto, pizza, salad, and cheese-filled gnocchi, and got a surprise dessert – flan! Flan is one of my favorite desserts, so this was a very delicious surprise.
