Safe and Sound! We’re back in MA!
Not sure what got into us, but we ended up driving for 26 hours straight, arriving at my sister’s house at 9:30am this morning. Kendra and I took turns alternating between sleeping and driving, while Addie spent most of the time sleeping. When we got to Kim’s, she fed us breakfast, and then while we slept, she took care of Addie, did our laundry, and washed all of the bottles. I think she wins sister of the year!
We are home now, and mostly unpacked. It was a great adventure and most definitely a memorable trip! I am so glad I finally got to realize my dream of driving cross-country. Here is the final map of our stops:

A couple of fun facts:
- We saw every U.S. license plate, and seven of the Canadian provinces.
- Though we saw no bears, we did see a marmot, wolves, a lizard, many types of birds, several deer (does and bucks), and a snake.
- We drove a total of 7,690 miles, traveling through 22 states.
You saw a lot of animals on your trip, but did you see the elusive jackalope or the Kaibab squirrel?
